This report presents an executive summary of the national quarterly reports submitted by the SYSDEM correspondents of the European Employment Observatory from 32 European countries (EU-27, Croatia, FYROM, Turkey, Serbia and Iceland) to the European Commission in October 2011.
The purpose of the executive summary is to provide an overview of labour market policies taken in the last quarter in the countries for which quarterly reports are provided. Measures taken and progress made are presented according to whether they correspond to the six priorities identified at the Spring European Council held on 24-25 March 2011 , as follows:
