3.6.3.1. Target group

Disabled people as defined by Law 2643/98.

3.6.3.3. Contents

The programme offers employers over a total period of 36 months a daily grant of GRD 7,000 for the first year, GRD 7,500 for the second year and GRD 8,500 for the third year.

Within the framework of a part-time employment programme, employers receive a daily subsidy of GRD 5,500 for a 36-month period when they recruit individuals belonging groups threatened with or affected by social exclusion.

In addition, employers can receive support of up to GRD 800,000 if they provide a working environment tailored to the needs of disabled employees. In order to qualify for the programme the disabled persons must be unemployed on recruitment. During the familiarisation period (3 months from the day of recruitment) the enterprise receives a subsidy of GRD 300,000.

3.6.3.5. Duration

Three years plus one year without subsidies. The scheme is implemented annually.
