3.6.4.GR-vi.4 Support for disabled young entrepreneurs (new self-employed)


3.6.4.1. Target group

Disabled people as defined by Law 2648/98 wishing to set up their own business.

3.6.4.2. Legal basis

  • - Law 1262/82;
  • - Law 1545/85;
  • - Law 1836/89, Art. 6, 7 and 8;
  • - Law 1892/90.

    3.6.4.3. Contents

    Disabled young entrepreneurs receive a grant of between GRD 4,300,000 and GRD 5,300,000 if they set up their own business in manufacturing, trade or the service sector. The amount of the grant depends on the sex and age of the applicant, on the location of the new business and on whether the degree of disability is over 60%.

    So far the programme has been implemented on a two-year basis.
